[Dawn has passed on Brady Lane, but only by an hour or so when sunlight has reached the newly appeared doghouse in 337's backyard. The doghouse contains an orange colored pony with a yellow mane, quietly snoring, as if unaware what awaits her when she wakes up. Which is actually the minute the sunlight hits her face. She's use to getting up when the rooster crows, after all. Of course when she finishes yawning and rubbing her eyes with her hooves, she's a little shock to see the unfamiliar surroundings.]

What in tarnation? I don't remember falling asleep in the barn last night... Wait, this isn't mah barn. Where in Equestria is this?

[Applejack steps out of the doghouse and looks around to see a strange and unfamiliar landscape around her. She's looking over everything, which isn't actually much what with the backyard fence blocking her view.]

Well, it's definitely not Ponyville... Or any place Ah've seen before. What's with the door there? Doesn't look like it's made for a pony.

[She's referring to the back door of the house of course, and she makes her way to it when she suddenly is jerked to a stop by the rope that has her tied to the dog house.]

Erk! Now who did this? Is this some prank of Dash's and Pinkie Pie's? Hmph, Ah'll be sure to give them a piece of mah mind if it is.

[She walks over to the doghouse and uses her teeth to untie herself from it. She can't really get to the part looped around her neck at the moment, but she'll worry about that later. Now is the time to get some answers. Which is why she walks up to the door with a determined look and knocks on it loudly with her hoof.]

HELLO?! ANYPONY IN THERE?! Y'ALL NEED TO COME OUT HERE AND EXPLAIN YOURSELVES!

[She pauses and seems to glance up, as if noticing something for the first time before knocking again.]

AND YOU NEED TO GIVE ME BACK MAH HAT IF YOU HAVE IT, TOO!!

Through their body language, I suppose, but then I've never seen a horse in person before.

[Applejack gives her a solid hoof/handshake before pausing to think who she might mean.]

Blue flying pony? She have a rainbow mane and tail? Kinda loud? 'Cause if so, that sounds like Rainbow Dash. We're not related, but we're good friends.

Ah guess if you want to get all technical about it, you still haven't what with me being a pony and all, but that's really not what's important right now. Do you know who brought me here or why? Because I seriously need to be giving them a piece of mah mind before getting back home to Ponyville.

[He opens the door, frowning slightly.]

I didn't do shit. People get kidnapped and brought to this town all the time. Everyone here's been kidnapped, same as you.

I'm not the one with much information, I'm afraid. Other people have been investigating and making theories, but I'm just trying to keep my head down as much as I can. From what I can tell, the town is fairly normal, if a bit boring, so long as you play by their rules, but if you don't...

(Shudders.)

"Very loud. I believe that was her name. I haven't seen her since I first met her though."

Don't you think the two are more likely to be related? If we find out how to get home, we'll probably know why we were brought here to begin with.

[Applejack ponders the possibility for a bit before responding.]

That might be true, but that kinda sounds like we're being held here until we give in to someponies demand, you know?

Ah'd feel a lot better about all that if we got to choose to help out, not forced into it. Ah mean, it's not like Ah wouldn't offer a helping hoof if somepony just asked...

This is Mayfield, it's dumb and you can't leave. At least it's not that easy to leave.

Can't leave? How come? Ah thought it was weird something or somepony brought us here, but Ah don't see how exactly they could keep us here. Especially you, Dash.

Well, Dash isn't one to stay in one place for long. Except when she's napping...

Ah'll have to go look for her later though, thanks for letting me know she's here too!

Well, there's no reason we can't lend a hoof here and there when needed. Especially if we're going to be expected to live in this place until somepony discovers the way out.

[Well that doesn't sound good at all. But if the hue-min doesn't know, he doesn't know. Might as well see if she can get back home at least...]

There are rules? Like what? And any of them mention how to get back home or get a hold of your family and friends?

[Wait, he's a victim too? Well that puts a damper on her theory that the house owners had something to do with her being here...]

[...But then, he's in a nice house and seems to know more about this place than she does, so now is not the time to back down. Now is the time to get to the bottom of things!]

Alright then, so you're not the one who ponynapped me. But you seem to know what's going on in this here town, don't ya? And there's no way Ah'm just going to sit here without getting some answers!

In general, it is advised that you play the role you're given, though in your case I wouldn't blame you if you didn't want to do that. City Hall, the police station, and the dairy are all off limits. Every so often the town will also have strange things happening that in general cause everyone to be much more hostile than usual.

I've heard people have been able to get home and return, but it's probably better to ask around and get the story from those people in person.

Oh, and rumor has it that it's not a good idea to drink the milk.

"Of course. If I meet any other ponies I can get that information to you as well."

Well, yeah, I'm a kid, but that doesn't mean I can't do anything a grown-up can do!

[That's a soft spot for him.]

The hell do I need a horse for? Whoever kidnaps everyone else brought you here. We don't know who it is.

Ah guess you have a point, but Ah still feel like finding some answers. All this mystery just doesn't sit right with me....

Sorry there, kiddo, Ah was just asking 'cause Ah don't know anything about hue-mins like you. Didn't mean to sound like you weren't capable or anything.

Good gravy! What kind of place is this?! Maybe Ah should track down those folks who returned home and see how they got out of here...

[Well, this isn't going well at all... Applejack is starting to lose some steam here as it seems they're both in the same boat. Still, let's give this one more try.]

Well first, Ah'm a pony, and second what exactly do you know? Do you know why we were kidnapped? Or what exactly we're suppose to be doing here? Or even how we get home?

[There's still a bit of an edge in her manner, but that's mostly out of stubborn determination then actual anger at this point.]

"Is there anything else I can help you with?"

[A holographic map of the city appears in front of her and then an apple appears on the house they're at]

"I've just updated the map."
