01 Apple Pie

[Dawn has passed on Brady Lane, but only by an hour or so when sunlight has reached the newly appeared doghouse in 337's backyard. The doghouse contains an orange colored pony with a yellow mane, quietly snoring, as if unaware what awaits her when she wakes up. Which is actually the minute the sunlight hits her face. She's use to getting up when the rooster crows, after all. Of course when she finishes yawning and rubbing her eyes with her hooves, she's a little shock to see the unfamiliar surroundings.]

What in tarnation? I don't remember falling asleep in the barn last night... Wait, this isn't mah barn. Where in Equestria is this?

[Applejack steps out of the doghouse and looks around to see a strange and unfamiliar landscape around her. She's looking over everything, which isn't actually much what with the backyard fence blocking her view.]

Well, it's definitely not Ponyville... Or any place Ah've seen before. What's with the door there? Doesn't look like it's made for a pony.

[She's referring to the back door of the house of course, and she makes her way to it when she suddenly is jerked to a stop by the rope that has her tied to the dog house.]

Erk! Now who did this? Is this some prank of Dash's and Pinkie Pie's? Hmph, Ah'll be sure to give them a piece of mah mind if it is.

[She walks over to the doghouse and uses her teeth to untie herself from it. She can't really get to the part looped around her neck at the moment, but she'll worry about that later. Now is the time to get some answers. Which is why she walks up to the door with a determined look and knocks on it loudly with her hoof.]

HELLO?! ANYPONY IN THERE?! Y'ALL NEED TO COME OUT HERE AND EXPLAIN YOURSELVES!

[She pauses and seems to glance up, as if noticing something for the first time before knocking again.]

AND YOU NEED TO GIVE ME BACK MAH HAT IF YOU HAVE IT, TOO!!

Alright then, so you're not the one who ponynapped me. But you seem to know what's going on in this here town, don't ya? And there's no way Ah'm just going to sit here without getting some answers!

[Well, this isn't going well at all... Applejack is starting to lose some steam here as it seems they're both in the same boat. Still, let's give this one more try.]

Well first, Ah'm a pony, and second what exactly do you know? Do you know why we were kidnapped? Or what exactly we're suppose to be doing here? Or even how we get home?

[There's still a bit of an edge in her manner, but that's mostly out of stubborn determination then actual anger at this point.]

No one knows why. We all are forced to live in fake families. There's brainwashed people everywhere. And there's no way of getting home.

[Applejack is....shocked to say the least. Brainwashing? No way of getting home? This isn't good at all, and it pretty much brings her anger to a halt now.]

But...what about families and friends? They'd notice people missing, wouldn't they? Wouldn't they help if they knew we're trapped here?

Beats me. I'm not a good one to ask about that. There are people here who have friends here, might want to ask them what happens then. Whether they were missing, or had life gone on as normal.

[Applejack sits down, almost like deflating. She seems pretty down and defeated.]

Ah see... Ah'm sorry Ah yelled at ya. Ah take care of mah family back home, so ah was in a rush to get some answers to get back to 'em. But it doesn't look like Ah'll be seeing them anytime soon...

[Oh dear, she's really depressed now. She might even be tearing up...]

[Applejack looks up at him with a small glimmer of hope, but she's still fighting back tears.]

There's other folks trying to get back home too, then? What about you, don't you have relatives or friends you want to get back to?

[Applejack is a little taken aback from that statement, even flinching back like it struck her before looking back at him right in the eyes.]

That doesn't sound too good, if you ask me, but Ah guess you can try and make a fresh start here and help other out if you wanted to, huh?

Mostly I keep to myself. There's not much to be helping around here when things go bad.

What's that suppose to mean? You shouldn't ignore helping someone out just because you don't think it would work, you help out because it's the right thing to do.

[He lights up another cigarette.] Everyone else in this house is brainwashed. A "wife" and two kids. They're going to act like you're a dog and can't understand you when you talk.

[Applejack gives him a stare, as if sizing him up...]

That's not a very neighborly attitude to take. Especially in a place like this where we're all stuck in the same boat.

But what do you mean the others are brainwashed? Is that there droning thing someone told me about? So the only one in the house who will talk to me in the house is you?

[She actually says that with a smile and bit more jovial then angry tone as she holds out a hoof to shake.]
